Hello everyone...
I am passionate about Art, Craft and Cooking. So here I am, with my first post about some cooking. When I was a kid it was not that tough for my Mom to make me eat but it was a great challenge for her to make my elder brother eat vegetables. But Moms are magicians and they always find some ways JJ
I still remember that those days she was making a variety of Parathas and Cutlets to make us eat the vegetables. Today I am sharing something like that...have a look J
1- Plantain(Raw Banana)-2 [Boiled]
2- Raw Papaya-200 gms [Boiled]
3- Whole wheat bread- 2 Pieces
4- Chopped Coriander- 1 tbsp
5- Chopped Ginger-1 tsp
6- Lemon Juice- 1/2 tsp
7- Chopped Green Chillies (According to taste)
8- Dried Fenugreek Leaves- 1/2 tsp (Kasuri Methi)
9- Curry Powder- 1 tsp
10- Garam Masala Powder-1/2 tsp
11- Chat Masala- 1/2 tsp
12- Red Chilly Powder-1/2 tsp
13- Salt (According to taste)
14- Bread Crumbs
15- Oil for shallow frying
Step-1
Mash the boiled plantain and papaya with the bread pieces. Then mix all the ingredients except bread crumbs and oil. It should become like a dough. If you find it little watery can add one more bread.
Step-2
Now make small cutlets out of this dough. You can make cutlets of any shape and size. Roll the cutlets in bread crumbs.
Cover it well from all sides by gently pressing with fingers.
Step-3
Now heat a pan and add some oil for shallow frying the cutlets.
Step-4
Fry till they become golden brown from all sides.
Once it is done take it out and place it on tissue paper to get rid of the extra oil.
These can be served as snacks with some ketchup or chutney. Sometimes I prefer it this way. J
So enjoy this healthy and tasty recipe J
If you try this out please let me know how this turned out.
You can also share your ideas with me..I'll just love to share those on my blog...
